Fairfield Country Day is a preparatory school enrolling boys in Kindergarten through Grade 9. The School emphasizes the mastery of basic skills and expects students to show courtesy, truthfulness, sportsmanship, and consideration of others. A daily sports program is required for all. Students in grades 6-9 all use laptop computers. To prepare for the laptop program students in kindergarten through grade 5 enjoy the use of our state of the art computer labs. Our students are exposed to French in lower school, Latin in middle school, and then have a choice of French, Latin or Spanish in our upper school. A variety of extracurricular opportunities is offered, including music, art, drama, and public speaking.

My current fourth grade class contains 15 boys. Fourth grade is a big transition at FCDS where the boys experience many changes. They are required to wear a jacket and tie each day and play afterschool sports. They are encouraged to become more independent with each passing day!
